Liquor licence notice display
Liquor licence applications in Victoria usually require a public notice displayed at the premises for a set period. We print, display, photograph and remove it to the instructions you are given.
What we do
- Display the notice at the premises as the instructions require — position, size and the period it must stay up.
- Photograph the notice as displayed, with the premises and the street frontage in frame, and record the date and time.
- Check and photograph it again during the period if you ask us to, and remove it when the period ends.
- Send you the dated evidence report for your application file.
Display requirements are set by the licensing regulator and can change. We follow the instructions issued for your application; please send them with your request rather than relying on a general rule.
What the evidence covers
Every installation is photographed to the same checklist. The report lists the upload time of each photo, who took it and who checked it.

Common questions
Not answered here? All questions or ask us.
- Is this the same as a planning notice?
- No. A liquor licence notice is required by the licensing regulator, separate from any planning permit notice from the council, and has its own form and display period. Some premises need both; we can handle both in one booking.
- Do you provide proof the notice was displayed?
- Yes — dated photographs of the notice at the premises, reviewed and sent to you as an evidence report, which you keep with your application.
